NEW DELHI, April 15 (Xinhua) -- At least four people died and nearly 20 were injured when a massive fire broke out following a blast in an LPG cylinder inside a house in India's southern state of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, confirmed the local police.
The incident was reported from the Kummaravandla Palli area of the state's Sri Sathya Sai district at around 12:30 p.m.
Among the injured, around 12 were said to be in a critical condition. According to the police, several detonators used in quarry blasting were illegally kept inside the house where the blast occurred.
The state government ordered an inquiry into the incident. ■
