MUMBAI, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened flat with negative note Monday. Benchmark indices erased opening gains amid volatility and mixed Asian cues.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 33,126.38, 49.62 point or 0.16 percent down compared to its previous close at 33,176.00.
