HAIKOU, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Basketball icon Dwight Howard will arrive at Mission Hills in Haikou, the capital city of south China's Hainan province on September 2nd.

The eight-time NBA All-Star and three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of the NBA Basketball Training Center.

The NBA Basketball Training Center is a project co-established by Mission Hills and NBA China.
