DHAKA, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese officials have shared their marine resource management knowledge with Bangladeshi peers at a program in Dhaka on Monday.

Dozens of young officials of Bangladesh's Economic Relations Division (ERD) and other relevant government departments joined a training course on "Marine Spatial Planning for Bangladesh" which was held followed by a "Forum on Blue Economy Cooperation Between China and Bangladesh".

Li Guangjun, Economic and Commercial counsellor of the Chinese embassy in Dhaka delivered a welcome speech at the forum which was also attended by Golam Shafiuddin, an additional secretary at Bangladeshi government's Blue Economy Cell.

Aimed at promoting Blue Economy Development in Bangladesh through bilateral cooperation, the forum is sponsored by the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of Chinese embassy in Dhaka.
