BEIJING, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Over 35,000 copies of books are being exhibited at the 5th China Children's Book Expo in Beijing, including over 5,000 overseas titles, according to its organizers.

Opening on July 17, the seven-day expo exhibits publications ranging from picture books, children's literature, popular science and comics to books on traditional culture for children.

The expo features mainstream publishers and prominent writers from home and abroad, drawing children and institutions from across the country, said the organizers.

The expo also features a variety of sections where visitors can get writers' autographs, try new reading methods, share new books and more.
